Mega Roads & Civils offers a broad range of road construction services and supplies, including road marking and all forms of road marking products; road marking removal and maintenance; as well as the installation of road furniture such as traffic signs and poles, road studs and so forth.
We successfully utilise sand or bead blasting on our road projects. For our industrial and commercial clients, we also utilise water or hydro blasting as a less disruptive environmentally friendly method for the removal of paint, chemicals or build up, without damaging the surface.
In pursuit of our own growth strategies in a constrained and competitive market our leadership team identified the need for capacity building in our niche capabilities and developed a series of training manuals (which have been accredited by the Quality Council for Trades & Occupations or QCTO), for our in-house developed NQF Level 2 Occupational Skills Programme.

Accredited Training
Our Mega offered training counts for 32 credits towards an NQF Level 2 accreditation and includes:
- Road Marking and Painting (costing and paint mixing)
- Traffic Accommodation
- Traffic Signs Installation
- Road Studs Installation
Our training approach comprises both theory and practical, on-the-job training that is provided at various sites across the country where we have ongoing projects. The theory is conducted either at our Durban head office, one of the branch offices, or if the requirement is outside of our direct geographical area of operation, a suitably equipped training venue is sourced.
We have already offered training to approximately 221 SMMEs in the Eastern Cape and North West on behalf of SANRAL.
